The Sims 3 demo we enjoyed at the Games Convention in Leipzig took place in a small room furnished with a comfortable old sofa and chintzy bargain-store lamps. It looked like the kind of place a Sim might try to live in. "How many simoleans would that couch run?" we wondered. With the lights dimmed, Producer Joanna Lio fired up the game and we got our first look at the anticipated sequel. Earlier we'd gotten to talk extensively about Sims 3, but this was our first time seeing the game in action.
