EA: Sims 3 looming

Official word soon, we're told

EA could soon lift the lid on The Sims 3, with Sims studio big wig Rod Humble revealing that his team are already hard at work on the new game.

Chatting on an internet-based forum (what other kind is there?), the creative director said that an official unveiling could be undertaken soon.

"For Sims 3 there will be new information soon," the executive teased.

A number of Sim titles look to be in development at EA, MySims is on the way for the DS and Wii, while SimCity Creator and SimAnimals are also planned.

Humble also reveals that in addition to Sims 3, which could be official soon by the sound of things, no new Sims 2 SKUs are planned.
