Reporting to: EA Play (The Sims/Spore, other brands) Community Manager
Location: Russia

This role involves managing all community-related aspects of EA Play (The Sims/Spore, other brands) products with a strong focus on developing online communities. The candidate must have above normal enthusiasm for entertainment software, a good basic understanding of computers and must be outgoing and enjoy people.

The role encompasses (but is not restricted to) the following:

• Manage developing in-house local web communities and micro sites
• Manage the relationship with external web communities
• Manage The Sims 3 official website
• Build and maintain the local email contact database
• Assist in the implementation of direct email campaigns
• Implement local side of pan-European campaigns where appropriate
• Liaise with other Community managers in region and also in Europe and also close contact with marketing team on all aspects of community and management, including representing country at CRM conferences, briefing on local activities and sourcing ideas from other EA organizations to implement in local country
• Actively seek local talents
• Actively participate and help with trade marketing activities
• Attract new audience
• Organize contests and competitions

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Hands on experience with website creation/some working knowledge of database systems, web development and applications development technologies (HTML, XML etc.) will be beneficial
• Well-organized with good attention to detail and design
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills
• Strong interest and understanding of computer technology, entertainment and video games
• Desire to “make the difference” through quality of work and initiative. Service attitude essential
• Flexible team player, prepared to help out where necessary to achieve progress
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word
• Enthusiastic, hard working and self-motivated
• Must have reasonable spoken and written English
• Must have good writing skills in both Russian and English
• Must have good knowledge of The Sims universe

Work Conditions:
° Salary: from 40000 rub NET (after tax) depending on the candidate’s experience
° Full employment (official hours 10.00 – 19.00)
° Work in EA Russia office in Moscow (Smolenskaya metro)
