Hi, people! I haven't ever been in this theme. I found it 5 minutes ago and I like it! I am going to be an interpreter, do you know? But I am little angry because I don't see here anything conversation, I mean common conversation. It was good idea to create English theme in russian forum, so a lot of members like this foreign language. Please don't write single reports here! Let's talk to each other!
So, I'm starting. In my opinion, English is very nice and lovely language. I think it's more melodious and more... mmm.. tender than other foreign languages I heard... And... What about you??? Why do you learn English? Thanks for answers beforehand

Well, I've started learn English for translating of my favourite songs' lyrics (I was about 13 and I really liked Korn and Linkin Park), and English became my true love with time. For today I use my language skills for translating books, speaking with interesting people (with that guy from 65daysofstatic, for example. I remember you, sweety!) and writing messages for mr. Abrahams, of course)

I study in special school. We have a lot of english lessons... about six at the week. But I havn't any results even for eight years. Why? I'm lazy person.

I study english during 14 years. I can't say that I speak really good, but it's fine to speak with my friend from Turkey, Slovenia, USA, Netherlands... It isn't my favourite language, but I think I have to know it.
In my uni I study economic english. It's very necessery for my future because I will be a manager. And I discover something new about my work on those lessons. About banks, companies, stock exchanges...
In short, I'm glad to speak english )))

In my opinion, English is the most beautiful language... ( I don't speak about our native Russian, of course )... I learning English since 6 years. Yeah! Our teachers start to teach it in 1st class, but I was gone to school when I was seven years old... So, how? My dear mother teached me English before the school and in the first class I read better than my classmates. When they weren't understanding anything single letter, I read big texts non-stop I love English.
